With all the other shenanigans that are going on, the RBA today left the cash rate at 4.5%.
In a statement accompanying the decision, RBA governor Glenn Stevens said high terms of trade were expected to add to incomes and demand, while output growth over the year ahead was likely to be about trend.
I am sure that Joe Hockey will come out and say that this shows that the governments policies are a failure because rates did not go up.
