Eels v Titans
Tough one - Hindmarsh has his lucky undies on ... what that means I have no idea but it's evidently important to him. The Eels will be on a high from their win last week, not the least because the win meant that their old rival Manly was knocked out (I still reckon Bennett threw the match because he saw Manly as a threat but I'm told that is up there with the grassy knoll, Roswelll and moon landing stuff.) . The Titans also played well in the second half last week and if they hasdn't let the Broncos run rampant in the first probably should have won. I'm tipping the Eels to win this one, not because of Hindmarsh's undies but because their defence is very good at the moment (and that does have something to do with Hindy) and they have repelled plenty of creative attack over the past couple of months that was better than the Titans. Hayne and Mortimer are also pretty much unstoppable at the moment.
Broncos v Dragons
Can the student beat the master? Ivan has done a good job with the Brissy boys but Bennett has done more with the Dragons than I think and mad St George Supporter could ever have hoped. The Dragons were disappointing last week and the Broncos were on fire, particularly in that first 50 mins or so. I expect BIG DEL to lift in this one (or at least jump and contest a bomb this week) to make up for his slip up last week. Soward will be the difference though. He has to show he can lift in the big games and Wayne will have been talking to him about that this week. It'll be close but TB will be disappointed with the result. Dragons by 7.
